I just logged on my AdSense account and saw that the AdSense Setup page looks a bit different. The new Manage Ads tab has appeared. This means you can now change the settings (such as colors and channels) of an ad unit on a certain page without having to edit the ad code on your site. You just go to you google account, select the ad you want to change and you`re done. Google announced this release, even if most people don`t know about it and it should appear in everyones account in a few weeks. As Google said, you can edit the colors and channels of multiple ads in a few mouse clicks. This new feature is ment to save time and simplify the process of optimizing your ad units, so YEY or not!

What google forgot to mention is that now, in order to edit your ads you will be forced to replace all of the old ad code on all of your websites with the simple new one. For some people this can be a challenge

From one point of view this will make it a lot easier to manage your adsense units, but now all the idiots will either be confused or fill their sites with ads.

The old codes still work, but it wold have been nice if both interfaces were available for the public. I`m sure that google thought that by leaving both interfaces available, people wold get confused and since the main purpose is “more customers, more money” everyone will have to adapt. You could keep using the old codes, but than again they might be disabled sometime in the future.

The thing that really bothers me is that this update was kind of forced and the people that don`t visit the google blog will have a big surprise next time they want to create a new ad. They world as they knew it has changed and nobody told them. I`m more that eager to see what will happen next with all the adsense junkies out there.

I believe you all know by now that google has implemented a new payment type, Western Union Quick Cash.

Now what`s so cool about it? Well as you know the money you earn in September will be sent at the end October. Using a Standard Delivery check you will get you your earnings by the 25th of November and using a Secured Express Delivery check by the 5th of the same month. Now depending on your location you may be close to a CITIBANK center. If you are, you can get your money right away, but if you`re not you will have to get to one or use a local bank. By using a local bank you will have to wait another one or two weeks before you receive your funds and either way you will have to pay a fee.

So here comes the beauty of the Western Union Quick Cash payment option. The payment is due after the 25th of October and will be sent by the 10th of November. In my case it was sent on the 1st and i got my money within 5 minutes. It`s a lot faster and paperless and the best thing is that there are no fees. You will get the amount that is written on the payment page and not a cent less, I actually got a cent more when I did the currency exchange
