Next google pagerank update

The next PageRank update will be aproximately in one and a half month (give or take a few days :)).

Increasing Your PageRank

When we think of a sites PageRank, we think of the PageRank of their homepage. In order to be considered a PageRank 5 site, you only need to have PR5 on your homepage. In order to increase your homepages PageRank, there are three main things you can do:

  1. Increase the amount of sites that are linking to your homepage.
  2. Add more pages to your site.
  3. Decrease the amount of irrelevant sites youre linking to with your subpages.

    I think it would be easier if they just told everyone when to expect a pagerank update and at least then those who go out of there way to gain rank by adding tons of crappy backlinks would get penalized!
